During
his November 4 acceptance speech, President-Elect
Barack Obama stated that “There are many who won’t agree with every
decision or policy I make as President, and we know that government can’t solve
every problem. But I will always be honest with you about the challenges we
face. I will listen to you, especially when we disagree.”
Over
the years, we haven’t agreed with many of the President-Elect’s statements,
policies, and votes on Israel/Palestine, but we believe that he is sincere in
being willing to listen to those with whom he disagrees. That’s why we’re asking you to
join us in taking action to make our voices heard and help set the tone for the
Obama Administration’s Palestine/Israel policies.
